Advisor Insurance Agency's Community Involvement
Wingapalooza - November 3rd, 2018

We Support Our Community
Supporting our community is important to us. Kirk spends a lot of time working in the Springfield Sertoma Club raising money for children's charities in Greene County, But the community involvement we cherish the most is the work we get to do with our children and their schools. Liz works to support the Willard Baseball and Softball teams and has a wonderful foster baby that occupies her time.
Kirk is a big supporter of Immaculate Conception Schools Science Olympiad program where he volunteers his handiwork skills nearly every Thursday afternoon during the school year. Financially we pick a new charity every quarter. We support the charity by sending them $10 everytime, you or any of our customers refers a friend or neighbor to us.
Some of the charities we have supported are GearHead Ministries, Sammy’s Window, Foster Adopt Connect, Community Partnership of the Ozarks. Each quarter these change so watch our newsletter for who’s next.
I am a member of Springfield Sertoma Club. And as a member I am the restaurant Chairman for Wingapalooza, the oldest wing completion in the country. My job is to recruit organize and host 36 restaurants to make wings and hand them out. In 2017 we handed out 110,000 wings! Sertoma is known for hosting the best parties in Springfield with Wingapalooza, Chili Cook-off and Springfield Adult Prom but what we really do is raise money for local children’s charities.
For our fellow club Heart Sertoma, and sister club, Queen City Sertoma, we have raised over 200,000 a year to which we are a primary supporter of Boys and Girls Clubs in Springfield Missouri as well as grants to many other children related organizations every year. (Tickets for our events can be purchased at my office!)
- Chili Cook-off is the last weekend in February every year and Wingapalooza is the first weekend in November -
Advisor also picks a new charity every quarter to which we send $10 to every time one of our clients refers a friend or family member. Also if that charity refers us a person we send then $20. It is one of the ways we give back to our community.
Over the past year we have supported GearHead Ministries, Sammy’s Window, Community Partnership of the Ozarks, and currently we are supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks.
